All through out it was notable that everything happens in cycles. Wars, politics, famines, natural disasters, sport achievements etc. The headlines more or less read the same as today...
Anyway, to prove my point here are four examples that very much reflect what is in the news today, even though I hate to say it, some time has passed.

| Natural disasters seem to quite consistently hit those countries that have the toughest time to deal with them |

| Ok, Malmö lost big today to Häcken, but I would not be surprised if they are in the top at the end of the season. AIK may very well be runner up. And the rest of the teams that are in Allsvenskan might just end up in the same positions as in '75. Notable is that Brynäs and Sirius were in Allsvenskan in '75, but evidently did not perform very well. Brynäs doing much better in hockey in 2012. |
